Mai Vu, Esq.
Ms. Vu is Of Counsel with the Moon Law Group in the St. Petersburg, Florida office.
Ms. Vu graduated with a bachelor of science in pharmaceutical science from the Ohio State University. Ms. Vu worked as a biologist performing reproductive toxicology research for two years prior to joining law school in Jacksonville, Fl. Ms. Vu obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Coastal School of Law with distinction of a Pro Bono Honors Award for her extensive time and effort in helping the low-income community in the greater Jacksonville area with various legal issues concerning immigration law.
Ms. Vu joined Albertelli Law in Tampa, where she practiced real estate law and title curative work. Since leaving Albertelli Law, Ms. Vu expanded her area of practice to general civil litigation, Social Security benefits, and business law. Ms. Vu represents business owners in establishing their business, preventing potential liability and mitigating damages by using effective tools such as risk consultations and mediations. When not in Court, a large part of Ms. Vu’s time is spent on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial lease agreements and contracts for goods or services.
Ms. Vu is fluent in Vietnamese and worked previously as a court interpreter during her college years. Ms. Vu is a strong believer in the way to deliver the best legal services to her clients is by listening to and understanding her clients’ ultimate needs and goals.
